About

Preparing the Next Generation of Pianists

“Music lessons are just another extracurricular activity.”

But music can be so much more. Little did I know when my parents dropped me off at my first piano lesson that it would become my education, my career, and my ministry.

Learning an instrument is an invaluable skill. It can be used for enjoyment. It can be used to impress others. It can influence one’s emotions in a way words cannot. And most importantly, it can be used to glorify God.

At Joyful Noise Piano Studio, our passion is equipping young musicians with a love for music and skills that will last a lifetime.

About Joyful Noise Piano Studio

Joyful Noise Piano Studio is a Christian-owned music studio operating out of Charity Baptist Church in Greensboro, NC. Our goal is to provide quality piano instruction in a way that’s fun and easy enough for kids to understand while challenging students to make steady progress in their musical abilities. We aim to equip each student with a fundamental knowledge of music theory and the skills to one day become independent pianists so they can continue enjoying music on their own.

About the Teacher

My name is Allycia Shepley, the teacher and founder of Joyful Noise Piano Studio. I have been playing piano since 2009 and teaching since 2021. I specialize in classical, worship, and popular music, have experience as a church accompanist, wedding pianist, arranger, and composer, and hold a bachelor’s degree in Commercial Music from Liberty University. Music is my passion, and I’m always excited to meet new students who are just as eager to dive into their musical journey.

Our Studio Policy

Our studio policy includes information about tuition, scheduling, cancellation and makeup lesson policies, and more. Parents/guardians will be asked to sign a copy of the policy documenting their understanding and agreement when beginning private lessons.
